Ramblin' Man a tune well known, by fans of Hiram Hank
For him a feeling in his bones, impossible to shake
Some claim a fever, without a doctor's pill
It's only pain reliever, over that next hill.
Constantly on the move, endlessly in search
Emptiness you can't prove, well acquainted with the hurt
To ease the ear-piercing sound, of a quite still
Wishing as lightning strikes the ground, to be over that next hill.
A concern one must live, to truly understand
Yet with pen, Hank does give discern to Ramblin' Man
For Luke, a train would simulate such a lonesome ill
Though Highway Eleven he would take, over that next hill.
